My cousin from Holland (owner of a travel agency) wanted a special menu with a capable Chef and a special place to celebrate his 50th Birthday on holiday in Canada. He found it in Slackoni's. The setting on the water was intimate and relaxed with music supplied by a classical guitarist. This was a multi-course meal and each was delivered with great presentation style and flavour. The group was delighted with anti-pasto dishes of vitello tomatol, smoked salmon, mini portabello mushrooms stuffed with shrimp and a mouth watering caprese salad. Moving inside to a cozy adjoining party room we were treated to a tasty seafood fettuccini pescatore. The main event was elk tenderloin in a maple bbq glaze. And for those who like desert, the ultimate..the zucotto "italian bomb cake" Amazing!
As per the menu, the wine was also chosen to compliment each course. It was a great event and everyone was thrilled. Our european guests, so used to eating in Paris were very impressed! Hats off to Slackoni's staff in delivering the service in keeping with the excellent food. Congratulations to all!

Ok here's the deal..if you want the best pizza in the valley, not to say anything about the flawless donairs this is the place. It starts with the warming customer service you just don't experience anymore. If you get a chance to talk to Mo or his sons and his staff you will understand why I'm rambling. Kudos mo. We just moved to Rockland and found this little jewel. We ordered takeout pizza the first time and it was awesome. The kids loved it and they are really picky. We went in and had dine in yesterday and it was great. The place is really nice and clean. The bar area is really nice. The staff are really friendly.

The garlic bread was fresh, the arrabbiata sauce (Hell's Kitchen chicken) was spicy, and the service was friendly. Their Spanish Coffee wasn't as good as I'd expected, but a decent cup of coffee is a rarity in most restaurants...
My only complaints are that the temperature inside was cold, and the booths seem a little cramped.

It's atmosphere is more of a diner, really cute, and we had a really nice server!! She recommended The pizza, steak subs, and pitas, so we tried all three and we agreed with her!! Apparently it's family-run, and you can tell...everyone genuinely cares about your meal and making sure you're happy! The sauce on th steak sub was delicious!! Definitely worth the drive down!

We arrived in Kingston for a hockey tournament and searched for a restaurant that was able to accommodate a group of 40, half of which were kids. The owner together with his staff welcomed our team and did an amazing job. The kids had a great time, the service was the best we've seen from any east side Mario's, and they did a great job on the food. Hats off to the staff and the owner for going above and beyond! We'll be back for sure.

Generous with the cheese and delivered hot. You may need a knife to separate the slices once you get it home. The sauce is great and the dough is a perfect mix of crispy and soft. If you're into dipping sauce this place has the best, fresh-made garlic dip I have ever tasted.
Their toppings are real and fresh, so when you ask for bacon, you get real bacon. Not a weird simulated little ball that tastes like bacon. This goes for all toppings.

We went to Atomica on a weekday for lunch and got a seat by the window. The decor is really unique and we could see how the place could easily fill up and become very loud since it is all one big room (plus a patio). Thankfully, it was very quiet during the hour we were there (11:30ish) since it was so early in the day.
The server was very professional, attentive without being pushy.
The funghi pizza was apparently very good but my dining companion said that a big-box store carries a frozen one that is even tastier. I created my own with spicy tomato sauce, pulled chicken, feta and roasted red peppers, which was very nice.
Overall, the quality is good and the price is a little high but it's a nice occasional dining out venue and they support local growers, which is appreciated.

Idk what these bad reviews are all on about, I personally loved the pizza here and used to come all the time in highschool because I went to holy cross so it wasn’t far.
