My family came down from Montreal and Pembroke to celebrate the Christening of my granddaughter. We chose Tosca's because of the food and the service. The waiters were so friendly and paid attention to the needs of the clients. The food was delicious! We were a group of 24. I would definitely choose this venue as the place to host a party. An out of the way little house that looks like a local take out pizza joint. Walk in and there are a few tables. Sit down and order and get some of the best Italian food I have had in Ottawa. Ask what the special is, you never know. We stared wit a sausage appetizer that is to die for, flavorful and spiced just right. There were 6 of us so we all ordered different things and tried each others. There was not a loser in the bunch. Skip the insalata, it is just greens on a plate. The veal picatta was outstanding and the pastas were great. Get the house wine, the night we were there it was a very good valpolicella.
