The food is great...THE best Thai food I can find in the GTA after visiting numerous different places. The ambience makes a strong attempt to be reminiscent of Thailand, which is very appropriate for the wholesome food you receive. The wait staff is quite good from my experience, They're always at your side as soon as your glass is almost empty. The pad Thai is the best I've ever had...not dry like other places. This place is awesome!!! The restaurant is small but cozy. There was only 1 woman running the show up front and it got quite crowded by late afternoon, but I was impressed by her level of service. We had the mango salad which was bursting with flavor and very originally put together. Even my wife agreed it was deserving of 5 stars. I also love the fresh (not fried) spring rolls w/ peanut sauce. Pad thai came next and that was good as well. Finally, we had chicken Panag curry which was served with a side of rice. Also a winner. I had been to JJ Japanese Thai beforehand and was never disappointed. This was my third visit and I was more than pleased. The restaurant was nicely decorated with beautiful table linens, wall decorations, and pillows. The servers were kind and attentive. Our server, whose name was Alina, was so kind and friendly, she asked us if there was anything we needed on a consistent basis and also provided free ice cream for being such great customers!
