CrossFit Montreal opened its doors in June 2006 and was the first CrossFit Affiliate centre in Quebec, 3rd in Canada and 47th in the world at the time. CrossFit Montreal started operations in a small local of 1900 Sq ft in 2006. In 2009, the first male athlete in Quebe's history to attend the CrossFit Games in California was from CrossFit Montreal. That same year, CrossFit Montreal expanded to a new location of 8000 sq ft.
