In 1982, Denis Gagnon migrated upstream to the island of Montreal, leaving his native land of Saguenay Lac-Saint-Jean. Creative liberty is what initially motivated Denis Gagnon to move to Montreal, though the magnificent wilderness of his birthplace has nurtured him well.

Denis Gagnon has since become a ready-to-wear household name in Quebec and Canada, for both women and men, thanks to his visionary forces, and accessible avant-garde collections. He strives to “create experiences, so that every client can have their cup of tea,” as he would say. Through fashion shows, collaborations and multi-sensorial events, Denis renders the nature of clothing more durable by merging it with other dimensions.
