CDC is a great school. I have learned so much during my time here in such a caring and positive environment. I came to this school specifically because of it's focus on ballet and have not been disappointed. I look forward to every class and could not imagine myself anywhere else.
The studio is amazing and every child is encouraged to improve in a positive way. I've been dancing there for 7 years and in the past couple of months I have improved a lot. Many times, my teacher has spoken to the class about caring for your body and loving yourself. Everyone is incredibly nice there and I wouldn't want to dance anywhere else. I feel very welcome there and I hope everyone who wants to dance either recreationally or competitively considers CDC

The studio is very strong in Ballet and this year has implemented new programs to further develop the childrens Jazz skills. The studio does compete but without spending every weekend away at competitions, limiting them to 3 or 4 per year in the spring.
Each year there is a christmas show and year end recital.This year some of the students will be performing with the K-W Symphony Orchestra at their Yuletide Spectacular.
Classical Dance Conservatory has been such a blessing in my child's life! Her experiences at the school have helped her become a confident happy kid who loves to dance and loves the great friends she has made there. The teachers are very supportive and approachable. I highly recommend this school for it's great instruction and atmosphere.
DO NOT GO HERE. This is studio made at least 3 kinds I know of have a breakdown. Audra has amazing choreo but you can't be around her as a person. From someone who knows, don't go here !!
Classical Dance Conservatory is a little gem in the dance world and I can’t believe we found it in Waterloo. Audra Grierson who owns the studio is an incredibly, gifted, dedicated and trained ballet teacher. She is able to look at a dancer, see his or her potential and then transform the dancer. She focuses on the fundamentals and the results are phenomenal. As long as the dancer shows a little willingness to learn Miss Audra will maximize his or her potential. The result is a studio that is full of gifted dancers.
My son is so excited to dance at Classical. He loves all his teachers and feels so valued and respected by them. The school shows a high level of respect to all its students. It is unbelievable after a year of dancing at Classical Dance Conservatory the improvement that my son made. In that year he also attended many dance workshops with world renowned dance choreographers. These dance choreographers acknowledged his progress and they all ask where he trains. It is with pride and without hesitation that he talks about Classical, Miss Audra and the other gifted teachers.
My daughter has been dancing since the age of three and at CDC for several years. She has received outstanding ballet instruction from very knowledgeable, very caring and supportive teachers. The studio also provides its students with wonderful performance opportunities and experiences. Quality studio and staff!
As a dancer of almost 14 years this studio was a large stepping stone in my life. It started out at a small church and continued to get larger. Being a ballerina always seemed glamorous to me until this studio and it's owner crushed my dreams. They put me (and my classmates) down and basically told us we weren't good enough. I stronly advise you avoid this studio, it will just break your and your little girl or boys heart.
