Third time here and it was the best ever. All day breakfast cooked to perfection. Wife's burger was from heaven. Service was spectacular. Refreshing! Kid friendly atmosphere. Even the trip to the bathroom is an experience as you leave the world of the diner into the darkness of a martini bar. Very cool.

Awesome Late-Nite eats!

All the food was great, fries could use improvement but that goes for lots of places. We had been partying all night and were really hungry, so that could have had an influence, but our waiter was really awesome too.

Nice to see Niagara wines on the menu no matter where you are. Nice diner style restaurant, extensive menu, friendly fast service. Meatloaf was salty but tasty and I'm always leary of those shiny brown gravies, but it was good. Mashed were real red skinned potatoes, veg was cold but a nice mixture of fresh cauliflower, broccoli, zuchini and carrots. The rice pudding was the best, even though I cut my lip on my spoon. If I'm in the area for a show again, I would go back.

Okay, I'll admit that I had this lunch after being at St. Mikes emerge getting oxygenated and steamed all morning, but... This ain't the old Fran's. It is far more expensive and impersonal. I also hate the fact that the washroom is in the adjoining hotel and there is only one access card no matter how many customers need to use the facilities. The food was reasonable and nicely presented. There is not as much staff as necessary to cover the tables, but the staff tries.

Basic no frills fare, I enjoyed my ribs and my dining partner who had the Big Breakfast could not finish her meal--it was a lot of food. Great spot to grab a meal and go when in the downtown core.
