Huge Disappointment !!!!
After reading the numerous other reviews for this restaurant it seemed to me that this would be a good choice for Indian food in Peterborough. I have had the pleasure of eating Indian food elsewhere such as in Toronto and was extremely disappointed in what I had experienced at Shafiq's Taste of India. I had ordered take out consisting of Butter Chicken, Palao Rice and Garlic Naan. The Butter Chicken which in the "manner" in which they make it was white, I had never seen that before, and had a strong taste of coconut, a taste that should not be in Butter chicken. The garlic naan had no taste of garlic, dry and cold. The rice was also very bland. Ended up throwing it out and a waste of my $20.

this is our favourite place to go, we go there all the time. whenever we want to go our for dinner we go there. Food is awesome, service is great, decor is wonderful and the place is always busy. Busy is a sign of good restaurant.
great food... the place was amazingly busy.... but it was worth it... i suppose good place are normally busy.. its one of the great place in town to eat. so we are going back again
