Joe has been doing various jobs at our house for the last few years. Everything from plumbing to lighting to replacing toilets! I contracted with Joe to do a number of renovations to prepare my house for sale. Joe did excellent work at a very reasonable cost. He also started and completed the work in exactly the timeframe he first stated.
Beyond that, Joe is one of those rare contractors who will advise on what work is worth doing and what is not needed even though he would have gotten the job for the nonessential work.
I have no hesitation in recommending him highly and would certainly use him in the future.
Back in Nov 2013, I hired Small Jobs based on the reviews and decided to give them a try. My Weiser door handle failed to open and pretty much locked me out of my house. I had no choice but to break my door open which damaged part of the door frame and handle. Joe came on time, provided a quote, and booked a date/time. He advised me to buy the Schlage set as he experienced several of his past clients with the same problems as I did with my Weiser lock. He arrived a few days later and repaired my door frame and installed the new lock set. He also told me to contact Weiser and check if I can be reimbursed for his labour and repairs (not for the new lock and handle set). Weiser gave me instructions and I followed them. Surely enough after a few months, I was finally reimbursed for the full invoice value that I paid to Small Jobs. Not only do I have a fully functional handle and lock set but Joe’s labour for his repairs was absolutely free.
I am fully satisfied with Small Jobs’ services and I will definitely use them for other jobs in the future.
