....I take a quote from your website"we have worked hard to meet and surpass our customer expectations.".... well tonight was the first time in my life that I have never tipped a server!! I have put up with many, but tonight was an exception. I have been to this location a few times. The first for beers and appys.....excellent service! The second good service and not so good food. The third last Nov for my daughter's B-day.....food and service was excellent. Tonight! Food was terrible and service was worse!!! We ordered our beverages to begin. We ordered a starter which was dropped off without side plates for the 4 of us or extra napkins. We ordered entrees.....well sandwiches, wraps and kids meals. Upon arriving I noticed the fries to be extremely over seasoned..especially someone with high blood pressure! I tried my cajun chicken club and it was DRY...when the waitress "Sarah" came by to check on us I stated that it was dry and no mayo or butter or anyting....her response was " it doesn't say it on the menu"....I am fine with this...my experience would be to ask if there was anything I could do or bring you!!! My wife ordered a side of caesar with her meal of a wrap. She stated to me the menu read bacon bits... when she asked Sarah she stated" with people being vegetarian or not liking pork, we don't put it on!" Well you can quote the menu once, but now you give this as an excuse!?? She did bring it. I asked for a menu to make sure things read the way my wife and Sarah said! So we eat our dinners, which would have been great minus the attitude or looked beyond if there were issues. My wife's beverage was empty for at least 10 minutes when Sarah appeared and said "GET you another?" my wife responded yes please. Sarah brought it by and literally just dropped it on the table as she was walking by!. I was amazed to receive my bill and see I was charged $0.75 for the mayo....I run below 25% food costs and truly believe in charging customers for everything!! Not when a customer is truly upset over their meal would I! So the $0.75 was her tip......

A friend and I where bored, so we decided to go to Bernies for a beer and ribs. We live near Bernies and we were excited for our first time experience.
It is kinda hard to describe our experience, I guess if I had to put it into words... "It was as if Bernies' was sucking the life out of us" I don't no why, but there was just something about the atmosphere, something about that place that was 'unbearable'. We got out of there as fast as we could . Never going back there again.

We waited for our order to be taken for more than 10 minutes and there were only three other tables seated but at least four waitstaff. Finally our order was taken and the waitress who took it did apologize so we felt okay about it. I ordered the tomato jalapeno soup and it was bland. The pizza was very oily, salads not very fresh and the chicken wings had been made honey garlic and then had hot sauce put over top of the honey garlic sauce. The wings were quite large and would have been tasty had they been made correctly the first time. I never got a refill or an offer of a refill on my water, no dessert was offered just presented with the bill. I realize it isn't fine dining but I do think had the service been a bit better I would try going back one more time and ordering something else to see if their other food is more appetizing but due to poor service and poor quality food I won't be back. It is too bad because the location is good and the prices are good as well, well, they would be good if the food was better.

Bernie's is a Bar/Grill. Get Bar/Grill food. Don't expect the fish to be good. I recommend the Burgers, Wings, Pasta Dishes, and Beef Dip(!). Bernie's is THE local greasy spoon/meeting place/drinking hole. Respect it.

I went to the new Sherwood Forest location. The nachos were fabulous, however I found the large chicken wings to be flavourless. The service and atmosphere were excellent however and I'll be back.
