If you love the music scene in Winnipeg, you’re probably familiar with Music Professionals of Manitoba, and our members. For over a century our members have been gracing Manitoba with their performances at orchestras and musical theatre, weddings, socials, dances and corporate events. We’ve even been featured on television, radio and film. Our membership has evolved to include those who work behind the scenes, like music instructors, music arrangers, repair technicians and more. Music Professionals of Manitoba (MPM) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing to its diverse membership the services, support and expertise necessary to succeed in today’s highly competitive and ever-evolving music business.

Every musician in the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, the Manitoba Chamber Orchestra, the Winnipeg Jazz Orchestra, and many other Manitoba groups are members of the “Musicians’ Union” as we have often been referred to in the past.
