anytime i just want great food, great service and a good time i head to joey's. SUCH good food especially all the assortment of appies they have. Try the gyoza or the spicy beef, to DIE for.
Had a dinner with colleagues here recently and we had a great time! We were looking for a casual place to enjoy the sun after a long day of meetings and Joey's fit the bill perfectly. The patio in the back of the restaurant accomodated us as a large group and is very sunny! Sometimes in a big group you don't get enough dedicated service, we however had a fabulous server, and she had many helpers who were constantly checking in...that can be rare these days, so it was much appreciated. And the menu...it has changed quite a bit since the last time I was there...but only for the better! The lettuce wrap starter is amazing! And we all really enjoyed our mains - the lobster ravioli was a big hit, the prawn curry bowl was delicious, and the lobster grilled cheese...mmmm... you get the point! The wine list was pretty good too. Overall, good experience here for a large group...we were well taken care of and the food was step up from most casual, chain restaurants in this city!
