Come enjoy an appetizing dish at Clark's General Store & Eatery. Explore a menu offering hamburgers, priced at 11$ to 25$. They are open at night from Tuesday to Saturday. You can get there by bicycle. The surrounding area is remarkable for its stores and parks.
We had fish and chips and it was very good best i’ve had . However my son found a very long dark human hair between the batter and the fish in one piece of his. We sent it back to the kitchen and when we went to pay the bill we were charged for everything on the meal except the piece of fish. No where else have i gone to does this . Wont be going back here again . Plus noticed prices went up again on the menu and less selection . Sad to see this for we had been going here for the last 23 years.
Went in may. Good food. The $8.00 milkshake is good but could not spend that on a Milkshake very many times. We went there the other week for ice cream. very good and not bad for pricing. it is one of the best places to eat. And you can go for a walk on the peir after to try to burn some of the food off. LOL
We first visited Clarks on our house hunting trip. We loved the food. However, since living here we only visit every once in a while, and we usually don't bring our children because of how expensive the food is for what you get. For example, a pop cost $2.99. A milkshake ($7.99) Mind you the milkshake is made from real ice cream-it was great, a side of gravy (only a 1/4 cup $1.50). The menu consists of fish and chips, different kinds of hamburgers, and some specials. Every time we visit, we realize why we don't go there all the time. I think on average we may visit once or twice a year. The restaurant does have an old time feel to it. With such little selection in restaurants in Cold Lake, I believe that is why many people go there to eat. You usually need a reservation to eat there because it does get packed. However, don't just read my review and decide, go there yourself. Foods good, the prices are just a little to high for what's on the menu.
