Flower Artistry

Lyn Chapman grew up in the Philippines on a tropical island, surrounded by lush tropical flowers. Her grandmother, a traditional green thumb, first introduced Lyn to gardening, and she has loved it ever since. “I remember our houses surrounded by bougainvillea,” says Lyn. “Along with my grandmother, my love for art inspired me to combine the two passions into one. I obtained my floral design certificate from Mount Royal University in 1993.”

The next 13 years saw Lyn focus on perfecting her art and skills at high-end flower shops throughout Calgary. In 2007, she started her own floral design studio to focus on wedding arrangements. Flower Artistry has since been a hit with weddings throughout Alberta and British Columbia.
