“We saw an opportunity in the downtown core to serve restaurant-quality food at a great price and deliver it fast enough for the business lunch crowd,” Darren Lexa says. “So my partners and I at Vintage Group did the research and put together a great menu.”
While there are many worthwhile places in the downtown core for a quick lunch or sit-down casual dining, Butcher and the Baker offers the best of both worlds. A chef since 1995, Darren draws on his experience to create premium sandwiches, soups and baked goods, made-to-order within minutes. “Since we opened in September 2014, we have seen an increase in volume every week,” Darren says. “Now that the catering side is up and running, we’ll be even busier very soon.”
