There’s nothing like a hot pizza after spending the day outside or to reward friends who’ve helped you paint your brand-new condo. Indulge with delicious pizza delivered to your door or consider making it a night out - some of these pizzerias are well worth the trip.

Pizzeria Bottega Montréal

1
65, rue Saint-Zotique E, Montréal, QC H2S 1K7

Yet another go-to take-out pizza place in Little Italy, Bottega offers you three stuffed pizzas (prosciutto-eggplant, salami-ricotta, and prosciutto-variety of cheeses), several options without tomato sauce (grilled vegetables, rapini prosciutto cotto, gorgonzola and smoked provolone cheese, eggs and black truffle) and more traditional tomato sauce pizzas (anchovies, eggplant, salami, prosciutto cotto and oyster mushrooms). All baked in a wood-burning oven, of course.

Elio Pizzeria

2
351, rue de Bellechasse, Montréal, QC H2S 1X1

For more than 50 years, Ristorante Elio has been serving delectable Italian that are well worth the trip to get them. While some may grumble about a lack of delivery, the delicious pizzas coming out of the oven quickly overcome any arguments. Try the white pizza (garlic, oil, anchovies, and spices), or a thin-crust pizza such as the Lucy (mushrooms, capicollo, cheese, black olives and spices) or the Melanzane (marinated eggplant, mushroom and cheese).

Restaurant Il Fornetto

Located along the Lachine Canal, Il Fornetto serves up pizza baked in a traditional wood-burning oven. Twenty pizzas are served on site or for take away, from the simple Margherita (tomato sauce, basil, and mozzarella) to the Affumicata (olive oil, smoked salmon, onions, capers, and mozzarella).

Pizzeria Napoletana

Napoletana is a staple of Little Italy that is well worth the short car ride, bicycle ride, or walk to get a wonderful pizza. And with more than 40 varieties, you’ll have plenty to choose from. The wide variety of toppings includes prosciutto, shrimp, porcini, asparagus, smoked salmon, clams, anchovies, mozzarella imported from Italy ... the choice is yours!

Restaurant Sandhu

No time to go out for take away? Not to worry! In Sandhu you have an option that delivers your selections from a list of 40 pizzas including the cachemire pizza (chicken curry, cheese, tomatoes, and coriander), the frutti di mare (clams, shrimp, mussels, cheese, and garlic) or the végé (cheese, broccoli, artichokes, mushrooms, and green peppers).

Pizzeria Da Bologna

6
5185, rue de Charleroi, Montréal-Nord, QC H1G 3A2

Where else than at Da Bologna you can eat pizza as a dessert ... with Nutella. You read correctly. But before dessert, we must of course finish the other pizzas, such as the Heavyweight (steak, pepperoni, capicollo, ham, bacon, onions, peppers, mushrooms, etc.) or the tuna (onions, lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, mayonnaise and, to everyone’s surprise, tuna!). As if that wasn’t enough, Da Bologna delivers!

Coronet Pizza

7
1671, rue Poirier, Saint-Laurent, QC H4L 1J2

Coronet has been making pizza for over half a century, which means they know how to do it well. Nothing too exotic here, just tasty pizza served the way you like it. Go for take away or have it delivered. Try the Hawaïenne (smoked ham with maple syrup, cheese and pineapple) or the special Yannis (feta cheese, onions, oregano, and olive oil).

Pizzeria Magpie

8
16, rue Maguire, Montréal, QC H2T 1B8

Magpie offers a dozen different pizzas baked in a wood-burning oven. Here, the aim is not quantity, but quality. Pick up an artichoke pizza (with spinach, fontina, Romano cheese and tomato sauce) or the meatball with three cheese pizza. Want to put your digestive tract to the test? Then try the smoked meat, cheddar, whole-grain mustard, garlic oil and dill pizza.
