What if the videographer you hired to capture your next big event – a birthday, retirement, your wedding, for example – was among the best in the country? This can happen when you hire Marrone Films, a video production company that, over the years, has received four Canadian Wedding Industry Awards, and 16 Wedding and Events Videographers Association Awards. “Our cinematic approach to the wedding video and our unique style, based on the story, has earned us these awards,” says Riccardo Marrone, who runs the company with his partner, Tanya Rembacz. “Over the years, we really managed to stand out from the competition.”
Founded in 1998, Marrone Films specializes in producing videos of a quality comparable to that of major studios. “Cinematography is a passion for me,” says Riccardo. “I am self-taught; I learned by shooting videos at school, for friends, for family. I was interested in film from a very young age, and I quickly began getting contracts for events and weddings.” Riccardo teamed up with his brother to start Marrone Films as soon as he graduated from school and in 2003, after a very successful start, the company moved into their current office in Ville Saint-Laurent. Today, Riccardo and Tanya continue to build on the company's success.
