Cupcakes, cake-cakes, cake-pops, cookies and Italian gelati: Whatever your sweet tooth craves, you’re sure to find it at Dolce & Gâteaux. Former fashion industry professional Cristina Vicenzo opened the two addresses with her mother, Luisa Pinto. “At a certain point in my career, I felt the need to go look elsewhere, to find a true expression at work, and to have more latitude in my decision-making,” Cristina explains.
The twist at Dolce & Gâteaux is peanut-free treats, along with a line of gluten-free cupcakes. “We sell all the classic cupcakes, like chocolate, red velvet, coconut, caramel… And I like to hint back at my Italian origins, with house creations like Limoncello, tiramisu, and cappuccino cupcakes. All in all, we have over 50 flavours in addition to all the cakes and cookies we bake daily, and for all occasions.”
