Carrying on in the family tradition and in the footsteps of his father, who was a butcher, François Dénommé has always worked in the food industry. The experience gave him a taste for customer service and allowed him to combine his interest in food with his other great passion: microbrewery beers.
One day as he passed a small shop for sale on Chambly Street in Hochelaga, he had a eureka moment. What did he want to do? Open a neighbourhood convenience store. What did he do? Exactly that, but with a particular focus on his love of beer and his desire to share it. In the summer of 2016, he opened Chez François - Micro-épicerie de quartier.
