Bad management, disrespectful tenants (smoking, messy garbage disposal room, loud noises (i.e. shouting, banging and music), dragging furniture all hours of the day and night, etc.) Rent increase justified by minor and unnecessary renovations (i.e. painting hallways 2x in past 2 year or less). We were given a letter from an outside source about possible Rent Decrease, Cap Reit responded by issuing all of us a letter, advising us not to pay less. Cap Reit fought and won, increasing rent after.
