Stellar patio with a chill inside. Lots of selections of beer, comfy stools, hot waitresses
Excellent beer selection and charcuterie! Can definitely get too crowded sometimes.
Asking for anything other than a beer is painful. The three staff working during brunch seemed incompetent and ignorant. The food is not worth the money. Overall just poor service made this visit unenjoyable.
As a restaurant, Bier markt falls short. Recently visted to check out the expanded menu with game items (elk, boar, etc) and our party left unsatisifed. The game menu was overpriced, and under portioned across the board, and the hour plus wait for food didnt exactly put us in the right mood to enjoy our meal. At this price range, it is pretty bad to make a patron wait that long with no bread or appitizers to snack on. I fell that Bier Markt is simply coasting on their status as the default location for corporate outings, and not really putting any effort into their food. At this price range there are tons of better choices in TO.
This was my first time visiting the new Bier Markt on King West and it was a huge surprise. They have a massive patio, great live entertainment and superb beer.....not to mention the food is shockingly good. My table enjoyed the seafood tower with a lager and cheese fondue. The steak and seabass was also a hit, prepared perfectly. The wait-staff took great care of us and the management clearly wanted the guests to have a great time. The only draw back would be the noise and how busy it got......a little much towards the end of our meal. Over all it makes for great value for our dinning dollar

For a more causal party, Bier Markt is the place to go. It has multiple locations across the city, so that means easy access to the lunch menu! The menu is customizable which allows you to keep everyone’s tastes in mind. Did we mention there’s also a massive beer menu?
View this Smart ListWith over 150 beers on the menu at this bustling European-style brasserie, it’s no surprise that the cheesy fondue is spiked with a healthy dose of ale. The rich lager fondue features a blend of Gruyere and Emmental cheeses and Stella Artois lager while the cider fondue is made with Brie de portneuf and La Sauvagine cheeses with Blackthorn cider. No one will blame you for scraping up every last morsel from the bottom of the pot.

Bier Markt offers beer pairing suggestions, but rather than specific beers, they recommend general types, leaving you to choose the brand you prefer. And, with six broth options, every taste is covered. The Alsatian broth is a good bet.
