Come taste a delicious meal at Westwinds Restaurant. They are open nightly all week. You can get there by public transit and bicycle. The surrounding area is notable for its parks, restaurants, stores and coffee shops. Payments by American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa are accepted.
The atmosphere is nice and I personally like the smell of chlorine upon entering the entrance.
The staff are friendly and well dressed. Everything is presented very nicely.
The buffet on Saturdays can be hit/miss. It's usually terrible though. I like to try different things but Chicken Florentine was a bit of a risk. It was bits of chicken with egg slopped all over it.
The chicken nuggets were probably bought at Giant TIger, brown meat and gross. $25/person for this?
Some of the garbage they serve is so cheap and gross. The deserts aren't as extravagent as they used to be.
The desert bar is decorative only and I feel bad eating it.

Westwinds was a wonderful dining experience. We just loved the food and the service that we had received on our stop while enroute from Ottawa to North Bay. We will make sure to add this stop on our next trip.
I am sorry to send in a complaint about
Westwinds in Pembroke. Previously we have enjoyed dining here. Four of us were celebrating a birthday, and all four were served meals that were most unpalatable. As a guest I chose not to embarass my host - or make a scene - and appreciate this way of informing the management of our disatisfaction.
Service was great, food was hot and cook to perfection. My steak was excellent and the dessert selections was the best I've ever seem or tasted. Keep up the great work.
