MULLIGATAWNY SOUP
A traditional Anglo-Indian spicy soup
A tandoor is a cylindrical clay oven fired by hardwood charcoal, which heats the sides also, thus enabling Indian breads to be cooked on the inside walls and skewered meats to be barbequed at the same time by our experienced tandoori chef. All tandoori dishes are marinated in a spiced yoghurt mixture for twenty-four hours.
CHICKEN TANDOORI
Tender half a chicken marinated to our own special recipe, barbequed over charcoal in the tandoor and served with salad.
SHRIMPS TANDOORI
Specially selected king size fresh shrimp cooked on charcoal in the tandoor, served with salad and basmati rice.
LAMB TIKKA
Cubes of lamb marinated in a select mixture of exotic spices and served in brochette form with Basmati rice.
BUTTER CHICKEN (mild but essentially most flavourful)
Diced succulent chicken roasted on skewers in the tandoor, then cooked with cream and yoghurt, garnished with almonds and pistachio.
CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA
Diced succulent chicken roasted on skewers in the tandoor, then cooked with fresh ginger, garlic and onion.
CHICKEN JHAL FREZI
Very hot chicken delicacy with fresh green chili, garlic and pepper.
BHOONA CHICKEN
Boneless chicken fried with tomato, pimento, onion and other spices and served in its own thick sauce.

These dishes consits of rice fried together with meats or vegetables whereby the flavour of the meat, etc.permeates the rice. Biryanis are garnished with almonds, egg and fried onions.

The food was great and the service excellent!
I was a bit apprehensive to try this new place as I loved Sitar and was wary about trying something new. Well let me tell you that I cant wait to go back. The food is out of this world, the service is great and what pleased me even more is that it was busy :)
