We are writing this letter on the behalf of Take 2 Mediation Services. A friend who had previously hired Take 2 Mediation to mediate her separation from her husband referred me to Take 2 Mediation Services. I called and spoke to an intake coordinator who explained to my ex and I the mediation process, and answered questions we had. She was helpful and made me feel confident in my decision to move forward with the whole thing.
We first met with our mediator I believe on February 2 2012, which believe me was nerve wracking! My ex and I parted on good terms but there were details like child support (I wanted a specific amount and he felt it should be less), and our assets that needed to be worked out. We created I believe it is called a memorandum of understanding that outlined everything my ex and I agreed upon including who gets the children during their PD days. This was extremely helpful because nothing was left open to interpretation.
We felt the services we received were beyond our expectations, and quite frankly we did not know what to expect. We felt we made the best decision, and the best part is this way we remain on good terms (or at least speaking terms). Our mediator was helpful, understanding of our concerns and highly professional. No one was left out of the loop which I felt helped maintain the air of good faith. Even better we were told at any point should we feel we needed to make changes to the memorandum we can.
I would most definitely use Take 2 Mediation Services again. In fact some of my friends are currently using their services.

Going through a separation/divorce is never the easiest thing to go through. You need someone to listen to you and to be your voice in this situation. Not only did we get excellent service from our mediator Nicolas, but we were also able to come to agreements in a civil manner. I would definately say that the mediation process is the way to go. Courts see things in black and white and it is what it is in their books! Mediation allows you to make your own agreement and gives you that flexibility to make changes or modify certain things, that in most cases the courts will charge you an incredible amount of money for!!! Take2 Mediation is a great place to get your agreements made. Our mediator is very down to earth and is always available to answer any inquiries being either via text, email or telephone. Although my Ex spouse choose the mediator, Nicholas was fair patient and informative to both parties. He gave us advice and suggestions that would not only be beneficial for now, but with future arising conflicts. Any issues brought forward was important to him. It felt nice to finally have my voice heard!
