Ordered food today using their website. The order was wrong and after talking to them was told they would not deliver the missing food. They were very rude and unapologetic on the phone and i had the sense they didn't care.
Been frequenting Osmow's Grill since the first week it opened up. It has changed a lot over the past several years. The service has improved over the last year although you must choose wisely when you are going. Not a place to sit down comfortably as it is very small but really good for a cheap/quick meal. Their hot sauce is very good and the shawarmas are definately one of the best in the area.
The lady at the cash register is extremely unprofessional, rude and has no clue about anything in the restaurant. They constantly overcharge customers and cant explain why. Food is sub-par and service is at unacceptable levels. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place!
I ate at Osmows and that was it the service suk, the hospitality has no place there, the food discusting, the owner sheets you with 3 OZ of chicken if he is generous at that time because he is not selling that much, all workers are depressed, over all I will never ever eat there not to mention how dirty that Restaurant is ,,,and to have a sandwich you have to wait 30 minutes it is not even to wait a minute in that restaurant
The owner of Osmow’s grill and all employees say the food is Halal but they have not taken the initiative to put it on the board outside, or on the menu, nor do they have a Halal certificate.
I’m not sure if this restaurant is a Halal restaurant obviously because there is no proof.
Not a good place to dine in, very small and doesnt look too clean but the food is AMAZING! definitely worth trying. the proportions are good as well so youll definitely be full after your meal.
The food is amazinggggg, I absolutely love it!!! Totally addicted to it. Really tasty and something I definitely crave now and then. Not only the shawerma, I've had a few of their menu items. Excellent! The mixed grill is A LOT OF FOOD for a fairly low price! Wow!
The service is adequate, I mean the people treat you well and everything but it may take a little bit of time to get your order and if you ask me, I say it's wayyy worth it!!

At least once in a week I go there, shawarma is excellent consistently.
Sometimes the wait is toooo long, I wouldn't go there without calling first.
I think the wait is worth, considering the taste of the food.

this guy Altaf. For One you dont know how to have a shawarma... garlic sauce and onions?! that's a disgrace to Shawarma's, thats not even a shawarma bud its a sad excuse for one. You seem a bit agitated over food. And if the garlic sauce was made well then you'd be saying it was thebest. its not sweet. it is better garlic sauce then you get from a pizza store. the Garlic sauce is made completely from scratch and fresh. the Tehini sauce is awesome. the shish taouk is just insanely good. the service from the employees is harsh when its busy, Let's see you go make pitas for 12 hours straight no break's and it be busy all day, you woudn't be happy either. Thats a tough job i give those guys credit. the cashier service has changed all of the new girls and the daughter are good! The wait time sucks, but you shouldnt complain, you should understand. when 25 people order 1-6 sometimes 10 shawarmas!
A very good small restaurant. Better dining/table services is all they need.
These are the best shawarma's I've ever tasted - and I'm from Montreal! However, the service is lousy. Ordering ahead? Don't bother -you'll still wait 20 minutes for your order to be ready. And you never get service with a smile, and often, your order is wrong because the person taking the order doesnt speak English at all. I guess that's the price you pay for a delicious meal....
Excellent, these shawarmas are made so well, toasted perfectly, made just how you want. The tahini sauce and garlic sauces are the BEST. No blandness here!!!! Be specific when ordering, you may get hot sauce, be detailed, they don't mind.
It is small place and very busy so give it time, they do their best. Could you do better? No of course not!
If you don't like the cramped space and line up, go to their newer location at Airport and Williams in Brampton, bigger, and way less people. Same taste. Nice family.
One and only one issue I have ever had, and it could be serious if your kids eat here, bone fragments have been found in the chicken meat. A kid could be less likely to screen the bones out, and that could be a problem....In about 15 visits to this Streetsville location, 3 times I have chewed bone chips that were small and sharp. But to me, it is well worth that need to be careful and take caution. Best shawarmas I have ever had, and I have had many, trust me.
Falafels are good, but not mind blowing. Rice is good, but on the plain side. Lentil soup is good. The star of the show is the shawarma.
Just watch for bones, be careful, it is possible.

I couldn't ignore all the positive comments about shawarmas any longer. It took a little while to find Osmow's, South of Thomas on the east side of Queen.
Luckily, i arrived before the mid-day rush and was cheerfully greeted in spite of both employees being busily occupied assembling pita sandwiches. My order was promptly taken, paid for and I was served in less than 5 minutes. I watched with interest as large pieces of chicken, hot off the griddle, were nestled in a freshly split pita, and swathed with red onions, shredded lettuce, peppers and sauces. What a tender and tasty delight for $5! The aggressive spice-heat level grew on my pampered Canadian palate as I enjoyed the sandwich. However, for me, the medium spice was just about right. Osmow's Grill is definitely worth going out of your way for.
Just had dinner there. Ordered one chicken shawarma. I waited...literally...45 minutes. Workers seemed irritated with the customers, and didn't care at all. Seriously: 45 minutes for a shawarma?
Besides the wait and the terrible staff, the shawarma was delicious. Good value.
Awesome 8" chicken schwarma that tasted like beef....nice spice, I dont see how anyone could eat a 12 inch but for two guys, 2 sandwiches and hummous, for $15.00 you really cant go wrong....got there before the rush and sat and had an excellent talk over excellent food.
Only complaint is the girl at the cash is indifferent to being there; and she shouldnt stand so close to the fan if she cant hear...
This is by far the BEST shawarma that can be had in Mississauga. I have made my wife and kids believers. They all love it. The chicken nicely seasoned, the fresh vegetables, sweet garlic sauce, all nicely toasted in the griller. MAN! it's so good.
Just on a side note,the girl at the cash does need to learn how to be more customer friendly (She often looks frustrated and bothered by how busy it gets), but she is not rude. The owner is great, very friendly. Hey, I'm going by there tonight. If your thinking about going just go. Try it. You will not be disappointed.

shawarma is pretty good for what you can find in mississauga, though I'm sure you can find much better in downtown toronto. If you're looking for a quick, good cheap meal though, it's definitely a good place.

I will drive down there at any time in the day and wait as long as I have to for a delcious OSMOW's Shawarma. The best is when Sam makes the shawarma...and toasts it well! I dont really the other guy, the one who always has a weird expression on his face and is mumbling to him self all the time. Sometimes I feel he's cursing me while making my shawarma cuz I am a little pickyyy! Just a little..well according to my friends..im TOOO picky. I mean all I want is well toasted shawarma, freshly made fries and some ketchup..hahaha. Oh and then if I eat there, I want them to keep the wrap on so that my shawarma doesnt break a part. Its funny cuz they have my picky order memorized. Overall, I LOVE the place!! I have recommended it to soo many people..and they love it tooo!
