    Best sushi in London

Ive been to several sushi restaurants in London including Kawa, Wonder, etc. and Sushi Ya has hands down the best maki and nigiri I've had in the city. Lots and lots of options for rolls, doesn't stick to the bog standard, which seems to be one of the biggest issues for every other sushi restaurant in London. Creative and delicious combinations. Fair prices, the box deals are a great value. The couple that runs it are very pleasant and nice, plus its a really small place, pretty adorable stuff. Highly recommended to all.

    Forgetful

We had lunch here two days in a row, may be just a coincidence, but they forgot part of our order both days. Surprising that there's no tempura shrimp bento. Food was Ok, not bad, but nothing to rave about, Shiki better.

As they say, good things come in small pieces.

This place certainly fits that category. A small place, yes, but don't let that fool you. Once you start eating, you'll definitely be saying "Yup, best sushi ever in London." Well I've tried this place and Take (want to try Shiki in the future as well). Hard to rate, since London restaurants overall are infinitely times better than Kitchener/Waterloo restaurants. The reviews below me say it all, so no point repeating. Definitely a must.

    Great food, Best Service

I felt compelled to write this review because not only is the food delicious at Sushi Ya, but the couple that runs the restaurant is so lovely and friendly. I eat here regularly and the sushi and sashimi is always fresh and well made, but what really keeps me coming back is knowing that I will always have a great experience when I walk through the door. I absolutely recommend the restaurant to anyone.
