We are the collective voice of those who support, build and finance affordable housing. We promote the proven methods of the non-profit sector and focus government policy on housing solutions for lower income people who suffer disproportionately from the housing crisis.
Non-for profit housing is supposed to be for people in need. Take a drive down Harrison behind the outlet mall and you will see nothing but big new trucks, Mercedes Benz, etc. yet they live in these non-for-profit house? I'm sure they must meet a certain income criteria...yet they can afford cars that are $40k plus?? They must work with a lot of "cash" that is not visible to the government. Need a better follow-up and venting process here so people who actually need these houses, get them.
