We visited this restaurant based on the good reviews seen here! We weren't disappointed. The service was excellent and very friendly. The food was good too. We felt it was very well priced too considering we had 3 apps, steak and salmon, bottle of wine and two cocktails to start for a little under $100! We were too stuffed for desert which almost never happens!
Will definitely go back!
We came across this restaurant through our Entertainment book. The book stated that the restaurant was located at the old Martin's Restaurant, and it serve similar food, so we decided to give it a try (since Martin's was fabulous). However, this restaurant does not even compare! The food and service were dismal at best. It took more than 20 minutes to get our drinks and have our order taken. When we had questions about some of the menu options our server brought a very disgruntled looking man she identified as the chef to our table to explain some of the menu options which he could only do by saying "this is a good choice". The french onion soup was covered with a large puff pastry as opposed to the traditional bread and cheese and had very little taste. The steak was decent however at this restaurant medium well means still moooing. Perhaps it is my custom but it seems very odd to me that a steak would be served without any kind of potato dish. There was a small amount of grilled vegetables included (most of which were unrecognizable to me and had no flavour whatsoever) and a large deep fried pear???? but no other side. All in all the worst restaurant experience of my life! P.S. Enjoy trying to escape damage to your car in the aweful parking lot!
