Geraldo Lourdes

This women should never be allowed near children. I was just sifting through old emails from my custody case in 2005/06. I had forgotten how this women had almost single handedly ruined many peoples lives. Long story short, she was hired through the Office of the Children's Lawyer by my attorney, as my ex-wife was a mess. Because of Lourdes misguided report, I almost did not get custody. She is biased towards the mother, regardless of present abuse.

I did not have a good experience with Lourdes as a Custody Assessor. Without getting too much into the details, I ended up having to go to court to dispute the recommendations. Luckily, I was successfull in getting 50/50 parenting and custody in court but I just thought I warn other fathers who are or should be seeking 50/50 — no reason for any father to not to be.

So disappointed in this therapist! Does not have the childs best interest at heart whatsoever! Biased!! Disgusting! Stay Away!!!

I was referred to Lourdes by another professional independently through a family member trying to help me out in a very tough situation over 10 years ago now. Just went online as I had a appointment with her today (as a do a number of times a year), and was surprised to see these reviews. Lourdes has been so instrumental in keeping my marriage and family in tact. Her counselling and caring professional advice has made me a better father, husband and human being. I am forever grateful to her

WARNING: STAY AWAY FROM THIS WOMAN! SHE has zero ethics, he was ultimately removed by the family court due to bias. I agree with all the negative comments by others on this site. This WOMAN should also not be allowed to practice. My kids still have nightmares about her.....but she will take your money no problem at all. A real pathetic excuse for a therapist. I wrote a letter to her governing body who are in process of severely sanctioning her. Wish there was less than one star to click on.

I am very sorry I ever listened to the Halton CAS & agreed to hire Lourdes Geraldo, who I didn't know previously worked for Halton CAS. She was highly enabling of mental abuse, & provided mostly silent supervision, not the therapy she was hired for. She should have admitted early that she couldn't handle the matter, but instead chose to profit. Our family has not healed still. That's not even to mention her invoices & her trying to pass off boilerplate documents for our unique family. Run!

Extremely disappointed at the lack of helpfulness and more importantly the lack of effort that went into our assessment. Lourdes made no attempts to delve into any of my concerns. She was hired for a specific court ordered report and presented us parenting plan. When asked for the report, she said she needed another $4000.00 for the report to be done. So why did I pay for a parenting plan that I didn't need nor ask for and wasn't hired for. My advice, use a different assessor.

I have had dealings with Lourdes Geraldo find her to be the most unprofessional person I have ever met. She was handling a parenting plan between myself and my wife during our separation and on more than one occasion made remarks and suggestions to my children that should never have been made. I was appalled and when I told her so, she didn't seem to care and felt that it was in the child's best interest.I hope people reading this stay as far away from her as possible.
