My breakfast was nothing speacial at all. The home fries were not seasoned enough, the eggs were too well done and the toast was burnt. The quality of ingredients were also not very good. Another visit I ordered a sandwich, and the bread was a bit stale,

The prices are fair and the service is excellent. I eat their breakfast special about 3 times a month - good value,freshly prepared,unlimited coffee refills.
Lunch and dinner - I eat fromthe Seniors' Menu - the food is so-so but the price is fair. Funny accoutrements to the main course, e.g.omelette and you have a choice of mashed or fries.
The waitresses are always ready to serve you - healthy attitude to their work.
The thing is, if you request it, it should be that way. Well, the kitchen staff at angels feels differently. They really don't listen when you say "no toast" or "only half the fries please". We are a highly wasteful society and the portion sizes are quite generous (which is a good thing!) however, I hate to throw all that food away and we all know how gross fries taste the next day. The staff was friendly enough, and food was hot, not fabulous, however I would return.

I agree with a previous comment about the staff. We have been completely ignored a few times in this rest. whether we have eaten there for breakfast or dinner. Also the fact that you never get a 2nd cup of coffee is quite common or a refill on a beer for that matter. We have been completely ignored by our waitress even though she has served a table behind us & not asked us if we would like anything else. There are a couple of good waitresses in there but overall, they lack politeness or efficiency & do forget to smile. The homefries I agree could use some extra seasoning. The breakfast however does arrive quickly. You do get a great meal for the money
