This corner restaurant had somewhat of an older diner feel. At first if felt kind of fast-foodish, but we were hungry for lunch so it seemed like a good fit. The server was a little gruff, and seemed unable to keep more than a few things in his head at once. Eg, he insisted that he take drink orders first before food orders.
However, on seeing the meal, I was astounded. It is a large amount of food for a ridiculously cheap price. The food is quite good for the price as well. We were completely stuffed by the end of the meal, and it cost both of us less than $20 together including tip! Would definitely return.

Forgot to mention they did make great pitas hmmmmm
but it took over 1 1/2 hours to get our lunch, and we had to send it back,my lettuce had gone bad and my moms quasadia had processed cheese in it and they forgot to put the chicken in it, and the serving staff must have forgoton that we were sitting on the other side because they didnt even give us onrefill on our coffees
WHEN I WAS 13 MY GIRLFRIENDS AND I USED TO GO TO GEORGES FOR FRENCH FRIES AND A PEPSI . THEN CAME HIGH SCHOOL, WE USED TO WAIT FOR THE STREETCAR INSIDE GEORGES OUT OF THE COLD AND ALWAYS HAD A CHAT WITH GEORGE AND TINA, BEFORE SCHOOL. WE ALWAYS WENT THERE ON THE WEEKENDS. WHEN I WAS 29 A FRIEND AND I WENT THERE DAILY FOR COFFEE AND A CHAT .WHEN I WAS IN MY 30 S I WENT THERE WITH MY UNCLE FOR BREAKFAST. THEY COOK BREAKFAST JUST AS YOU ASK IT BE COOKED .THEIR SERVICE IS EXCELLENT.NOW A DAYS GEORGES SON GEORGE RUNS GEORGE THE GREEK, A FAMILY TRADITION. BUT YOUNG GEORGE COOKS JUST LIKE HIS DAD(GEORGE).EVEN MY HUSBAND ATE THERE BEFORE I MET HIM AND HE ALWAYS REMBERED GEORGE AND TINA, WHAT GOOD MEALS THEY MADE. THEIR SOUVLAKI AND COLESLAW ARE THE BEST .IF I COULD RATE THEM AT 100 I WOULD ! CHERANNE FROM LONGBRANCH .
When we lived in Etobicoke we were are George & Tina's minimum 3 times a week, breakfasts, lunches, dinners, we even had our weddding day breakfast with George & Tina. Now we live in Creemore and every time we are in Toronto, we always make a trip to 'George the Greek'. The food is always exceptional and the service and smiles are unlike any we've experienced. 'George the Greek' is Etocoke's best asset.

We have been there many times to eat in, take out and get catering and it is always fantastic, fresh and consistent. Get him on a day when he is featuring his beef ribs... they are like the ones that tip Fred Flinstones car over!!!! DELISCIOUS!

Food and service was great - the only reason we didn't score this 10 was for overall cleanliness. It was crazy busy the whole time we were there but it seems locals know how to do it best - order the food to go and take it home to eat.
