I ordered multiple flowers bouquets for mothers and friends in Toronto. Even though I was late, they took my order. My family loved the flowers, they used flowers we didn't know existed (a coral peony? Who knew). I found out that the owner had delivered the flowers themselves. That's going above and beyond. I will definitely continue to use them (my mother had ordered flowers from them religiously when they were at Bayview Village).
I was unhappy with the customer service. I placed 2 orders and mistakes were made with both. I found their responses to my enquiries very slow, if they even responded at all. Would not use this merchant again, nor recommend them to anyone else.
The team at Fete was so easy to get along with, helped me define our vision and was so knowledgeable about our venue, Malaparte. They created flowers and decor that left or guests wowed, us included. They also acted as our Day of wedding planner. Paulina's ability to keep things on track - on the fly - in unforseen circumstances, allowed us to enjoy the day, unaware of any problems! She had great recommendations that we were very pleased with as well. Highly recommend!
We hired Fete for our wedding and experienced many hiccups. They didn't deliver one of our bridesmaids' bouquets and we were forced to take many pictures with a little toss bouquet instead. When they were alerted to the problem they sent a bouquet...that didn't match the others well. They also made many substitutions. It states in their contract that this may happen, and while we appreciate the need for this clause, we didn't realize just how much would be substituted. Not a good experience.

Hi Christine, We're disappointed that you've decided to write this review despite the fact that you said you understood this was not intentional and that you chose to accept our make good of a partial refund. You've neglected to include the following information: 1. Yes, in this rare instance, a bouquet went wayward. it was the first time this has happened and we were mortified. Within .5 an hour of being notified, a bouquet was delivered to you. It was made up of the same flowers from the wedding but slightly different in design in the haste to make sure you had a bouquet. 2. As for the change in the flowers, several photos of the centerpieces were shown to you the morning of the wedding when the personal flowers were dropped off. You exclaimed "gorgeous" and "beautiful." You also thanked us for the beautiful job. We are pretty sure that if they were horrid, you would have told us in person, that instance - so we are confused why this is coming up now. Let me be clear to all readers of this post: In our contract, we state very clearly that weather plays a factor in the delivery and the colour of flowers we use. We reserve the right to make subs IF necessary. We also will show you so you can know beforehand. In Christine's case, we showed her photos. The flowers in question were purple dahlias. We used purple dahlias but they were slightly lighter than the original colour we intended to use because it was during a week of rain and cloud cover so field flowers tend it come out softer in colour. In dry hot weather, the colour becomes more intense. We cannot control the weather (as much as we'd like to sometimes)! To make up for the switch, we added more hydrangea and garden roses (3x the price of a dahlia). Within 2 days of the wedding, we connected about the issues, within 10 days, the solution was accepted, delivered, and the matter seemingly closed. Yet, Christina has decided to write this review. It is her opinion and we can accept that. However, we have a number of 5 star reviews, we have been in business for 55 years, and are always willing to work with our clients to deliver a great experience and memorable events. We believe that nobody is infallible, We also believe that it is what we do afterward to "own up" for any issues that may arise unforeseen. We welcome any and all inquiries about this and can readily provide references of the MANY happy clients we have the privilege of designing for. We believe in being transparent. We don't exactly believe passive aggressive behavior is the answer to an issue as we're all adults here and would welcome Christine to speak to us further if she wishes.
