A family that stays together eats together. It might be a variation of the original saying, but it fits appropriately when you meet Dilraj Aryal and his younger brother Yuvraj Aryal. They are the proud owners of the Indian restaurant Bombay Grill, which has several branches in the Greater Toronto Area, including Burlington, Ajax, Hamilton, Milton and Markham.
The brothers worked as chefs in several Indian restaurants in Calgary and Toronto before starting their first restaurant in Burlington. “Therefore, it was a no-brainer and in 2002, we made the obvious but risky decision to open our first restaurant,” says Dilraj.
Dilraj says it was their dream to run their own establishment and they thought it was important to give it at least one good shot. “Failure was never an option, but it was still at the back of our minds even though we had all the necessary skills to be successful,” he says.
The brothers are originally from Delhi, India, but they opted to use Bombay in their restaurant’s name. “The city, Bombay, was more known to Canadians than Delhi, so it preceded over the latter,” says Dilraj. “And since we were excellent at making grilled food, we named our restaurant Bombay Grill.”

well what can i say, this visit has been spectaculer and i am going to go there again. I cannot belive that burlington has such a resturant with such great food i highly reccomend thsi to everyone who want spicey food, mild or are not the spicey type at all. Go here and you will be very happy
i had the greatest time being here. i am not the type to eat spicey food and i dont really like the curry stuff but when i went they gave me exactly what my tatse buds wanted. I said no spice and thats exactly what they did i love the service and the people. o yeah AND the food
We are regulars at this restaurant dine in and take out, food is excellent very flavourful. I have eaten at many Indian Restaurants in the GTA - this is a great meal at a great price. Decor is lacking but the food and the people more than make up for that. Try it!
