We took our two daughters to the Keg this evening and the food was very good. Our steaks were cooked to perfection, the sides were all warm and everything was very flavourful. The kids menu, colouring items and special details (fruit/veg right away) made it a great family location. Our only issue was the service. We spent a lot of time waiting for the server to come check on us and the kids started getting whiny.
The Keg Brampton has really improved. The steaks were great and cooked perfectly as we ordered them. The food presentation was wonderful, the staff was knowledgeable and friendly and we had a great overall experience. We will definitely be back here.
Went here for a birthday dinner and had a very pleasant experience! Delicious food, excellent service. The only complaint I have is that the restaurant is far too dark.
You get you money's worth at the Keg. We went with a large group and they were really helpful and the service was amazing. The atmosphere was great and we stayed there for hours, no one bothered us. As the for the food everyone, and I mean everyone was quitre happy with their food. I was very happy with the desert I got with my Girlfriend, a combination of 3 styles of chocolate desert...it was Yummy.
took my family to celebrate our daugters birthdof ay and heading off to University(happy moment). the meal of the sirlion oscar came cold, but it also had labels attached to the scallops. apparently these are wrapped in a best before date package and the cook neglected to get the full package off the scallops. my daughter and wife ate away. i recieved a new meal and all was good. we ordered desert and coffee and tea. my wifes coffee kettles pot was clogged with tea leaves(hardened) it was not washed properly and the tea leaves had broken free of a previous users tea bag and once washed they were baked onto the spout. desert came and wouldnt you know it, another label this time on one of the chocolate pieces?? the manager offered to take care of the meal, so we continued. upon recieving the check, noticed that he was only eluding to the items that were messed up. very good server, she tried her best and as far as i am concerened the manager should have covered the whole tab. paid, left, will never go back and told everyone i know never to go there either.
The bread was not baked on the underside. Very doughy. (Not a very important issue. The meals arrived together of course but the vegetables served with the "classic" meal were frozen...not cool but frozen. The meal was returned to me after my dinner partner had nearly completed hers, otherwise hers would have become cold. The vegetables were properly cooked but coated in oil which was likely the result of frying pan heating, the filet was now cold and the potato warm. I settled the bill and left without eating. This was the second time in as many visits that an expensive meal had to be sent back because of cold issues and was left uneaten. Slip ups happen in every business but to have to sit and watch each other eat at different times, twice, is unacceptable. Our sever was very nice and tried hard. I will not waste my time again by returning.
I found the Brampton Keg to be the best Keg I have been to before in regards to service. The staff at the front door were very kind and opened the door for my party group as we walked in and greeted us in a very friendly manner. Our waitress was Katie. She was sooooo friendly she treated us like a long lost family memember. The food was great and present very nicely but what made this trip was the geat service from our waitress and the friendly smiles. We will be returning shortly. Thank you
The Keg is amazing at Hwy 10/Bovaird. My wife and myself visit the Keg atleast once a month. The food is always fresh and the cocktails are unique. The fresh break is always free with dinners. The atmosphere is very inviting, exciting, relaxed and friendly.
I've been to quite a few Kegs and have found the food and service to be very iffy. This is definitely the best Keg around. Consistently good food and service. You can't ask for a better steak.
Food was fantastic, steaks were amazing, waiter had a bit of an attitude. Overall experience was great. Very nice atmosphere.
