buyer beware!

I purchased 3 cords of firewood from this vendor. The driver dumped a pile of wood in my yard and told me it was 3 cords. I paid cash on delivery for the 3 cords. When stacked, I found that I had only received 2 cords. I called the company with my complaint and was told that they have had a lot of complaints, but they are unfounded, that it was 3 cords when cut, but when split it is less. This is not a valid claim. A cord of wood is 128 cubic ft. round or split and stacked loosely. This is from Measurment Canada's definition. A split or processed cord is an illegal measure in Canda. So far the company seems unwilling to rectify this issue.
