MPIAThe Manitoba Print Industry Association Inc. (MPIA) is a non-profit industry-based organization created to attract and retain individuals into the printing industry in Manitoba.The MPIA has partnered with the Province of Manitoba to focus on extending collaborative human resource development and training initiatives.By working with employers and educational partners we are expanding the print industry training opportunities available in Manitoba.MPIA Goals:Create a plan to identify opportunities to increase print industry awareness in the near term.Create a plan to become informed of the ''best practices'' used by Manitoba printers to attract new workers, and share those best practices.In partnership with training providers.Develop a print industry-related skills based curriculum with learning objectives and outcomes that are more relevant to the current industry needs.Develop a plan for print industry consultation, partnership and communication to start establishing a membership base.Develop a partnership plan with other appropriate entities to support MPIA's continued development as an association.Manitoba Print Industry Association Board of DirectorsExecutive Committe more...
