Go Fish Ocean Emporium

This place always has a line up. I was told 100 minutes which was dead on accurate. It was a beautiful day so why not stroll over to Granville Island to kill some time. I ordered the salmon burger and was disappointed with the thinness of the fish, I was wondering if they gave me the wrong thing as it was so white and came with this tiny coleslaw. The brioche bun was good but I felt dissatisfied. Not worth the wait or even no wait, I expected better.

Go Fish somewhere else. When friends from Lebanon wanted to eat fish and chips we went to Go Fish. We went there because we were already at Granville Island and the ambiance seemed OK to us. No, not the parking lot, but the water and the boats! Ugh! That's all I can say about the tasteless food, which was a basket of soggy uncooked fish, about 25 (yes, I counted!) soaking wet with oil chips and a small cup of raw and bitter something they called coleslaw. This was definitely not what we had expected after standing in line for about half an hour. Of course, when I asked to speak to the owner; (after all, why would we pay $$$$ for trash); I was told he was not there, and when I asked to speak to the manager, he was unavailable! Hmmmmm.... And yes, there can be a myriad of excuses for this dismal experience, but they would still be excuses! Go Fish would do better to Go Learn some basics.
