Ex pro skateboarder, Art Godoy opened Funhouse Tattooing in September of 1998 at 15 E. Broadway in Vancouver. The goal was to be a shop which provided specialized / custom tattooing. Now, over a decade later, the goal is still the same. The shop has undergone many changes over the years, from locations to members of the crew. As the years have gone by, so many great talents have passed through the door of the Funhouse and have moved on - Jesse Wark (Blackwater tattoo), Bonnie Dobbin, Jeremy Riley (Tattoo Union), Jory Helmes (Bully Boy Tattoos), Paul Peddie and Aron McKenzie. The current crew is: Mark Lankin, Sasha Koop, Juan Arreguin and Art Godoy, all excellent artists and great people., Funhouse has developed a name in Vancouver as a destination for hard to do, fine line and small tattoos as well as large body suits. We take on what most artists in the city decline... wether it's small color portraits or small writing to cover ups and large custom pieces. We believe that clients are entitled to the type of work they want, the size they want it and where they want to put it. It's not our place to judge, it is our job to do that tattoo to the best of our abilities. The environment is comfortable and very personable. NO egos or attitudes... just artists who take pride in their work and have a commitment to bettering the art of tattooing by giving clients not only an excellent piece of permanent art but an experience that will keep them coming back.more...See more text
