A Ford service dealer had flagged the need to replace the brake pads of my Ford F 350 tow truck. I made an appointment with Budget Brake & Muffler in Coquitlam, BC to replace my brake pads before embarking on a RV trip. I was pleasantly surprised when John Sinkie told me that my brakes were good for another 20,000 k’s & did not need replacing at this time. I find this honesty refreshing & rare. I will be using Budget Brake in Coquitlam for the service needs of all my vehicles. Well done John.
The owner and the others that were helping me were very nice, quick and efficient. I was surprised at how inexpensive the job was also. I will definitely go back again when needed.
Once again they have exceeded my expectations and the excellent customer service they have given me. They are very honest and thrive in superior customer service. John takes the time to explain everything in terms that a woman can understand. John has always gone the extra mile to make the customer happy and have the customer return to his business and is it truly appreciated!

If you have ever wished you had a family member who was a mechanic because then you would know you can trust them. THIS IS THE PLACE... I have been going here for about 4 yrs & they are so kind and always trying to help. My last experience my car was leaking I took it in & I was quoted 750 for a new readiator ( this was on Saturday afternoon) so I left my car, Monday morning Bobby calls to tell me they were actually able to find a hard to find part & could repair for a total cost of 250... How amazing !!... They are just so real and true!!... If you need a mechanic, they are definitely worth checking out!!... Thank-You So Much!!...

I'm writing this in utter disappointment. I have not actually received any services from this location only because I had ridiculous quotes from two seperate person. I called to inquire about having my brake pads replace on my 2010 vehicle and one person told me to replace all four would average to be $150 with labour. I thought "ok I will book to have the service done". I don't recall whom I spoke to but I called a second time to book and just to confirm what was expected. I spoke with Bobby this time and he said he needed to ask what the prices would be and I had told him earlier that I did speak with someone else before. He said that it would actually cost me $275 for the front brake pads and then another $275 for the rear approx. $600 plus for the entire service. That is so bogus

John and his team have been such an amazing help, as a new first car owner I've had lots of questions and work to be done, and the staff have just been the greatest help, whether I come in to ask a question or have a big job to be done they always know what to do and have my car running to the best of its ability and perfectly the way I want it. I just wan to say a huge thanks for alll the amazing support and help, hands down the best auto shop around, from service to friendly support, thanks a lot guys you've been the greatest!

John and team have been servicing our vehicles for over six years and whether you require a simple oil change or need a full turbo installed they are the right team to do it! Even though they operate under Budget Brake and Muffler now Budget Auto Centres they do it all!
We trust them with all kinds of work and wouldn't go anywhere else. When they quote you work that needs to be done they only quote what truly needs to be done where others always added things that didn't need to be done. Even after moving to Maple Ridge we still bring our babies to John and team.

As a new car owner I was hesitant about where to go to get my oil changes and regular car maintenance done. After a few bad experiences at other places I went here and spoke with John. He was extremely reassuring and took all the time to listen to my needs and answer my questions. He even went above and beyond in assessing my car for other problems when I only went in for an oil change. He was honest about my needs and frank about the overcharges of the other places I had been to. It was extremely refreshing and I will definitely keep going there!
