Fresh herbs and veggies such as bean sprouts are mandatory with the famous Vietnamese Pho (pronounced fir) or beef noodle soup. They can be added to the hot soup or munched fresh, it doesnt really matter. Pho has been around for 100 years as a traditional breakfast dish but, nowadays, it is eaten all day long.
Another great legacy of the French may have been the Pho, which some believe to have originated from the French beef stew, called the pot au feu.

TOMS SPECIAL
It is the abundant use of fresh herbs and vegetables that sets Vietnamese cuisine apart from those of its neighbors in Southeast Asia. Vietnamese food is a healthy mix of light and refreshing flavors with very little added fats.
Vietnamese people love to wrap parts of their meals in rice paper and lettuce leaves grilled shrimp, grilled beef, stir-fried pork are all good candidates for the filling, although sometimes, only vegetables and herbs like mint, basil and cilantro are used. The spring roll, which has come to personify Vietnamese food, is, in fact, a favorite appetizer on most Vietnamese menus.

My family and I love it here! The food is always great and the portions are large!
Our group enjoyed this modern restaurant....I had the 27 Saigon special and it was loaded with prawns, pork and pork patty with noodles and crunchy sprouts. Another couple had the meal for 2 with spring rolls Hotpot and lemon grass chicken... It was more than enough and they really liked it.The spring roll salad roll and won ton soup were all excellent. 2 of us tried the chicken dumpling appitizer and felt we would not order it again as they seemed soggy(but had flavor) .. Maybe that is how they should be but we didn't really care for them. Service was a bit raggedy as there was only one server on staff and she seemed new. she was attentive but had a lot of work to do. My entre came before my appitizer but she did ask ahead of time if she should deliver food when ready and with this type of food no big deal. they seem relatively new at this location so this may be just a bug. Overall food was great and the chicken dumplings brought it down to 4 stars instead of 5 .Price Our dinner for 2 including 2 glasses of wine appitizers and entres was $52 plus tip. We will go back.
