Sanremo Italian Bistro

My family and I went out for dinner to celebrate my daughter’s graduation and we had a great time. Great family owned business, staff and management were very nice. The food was great; you could tell that it was all homemade by the taste of everything.

It was getting to be around 8:00pm on a Friday...

It was getting to be around 8:00pm on a Friday night, when myself and two other friends decided that we were hungry. We pulled up to SanRemo Italian Bistro and went in. Within a minute we were seated (without reservations) and our drink order was taken. The resturant itself has such a relaxing atmosphere with candles and soft lighting. The service we recieved was unblievable! Our server was prompt and very friendly. Giving us the time we needed to look over the menu but was right there when we were ready. Our meal came and it was delicious! The three of us order different things and we were all pleasantly surprised. We met a few of the servers throughout the time that we were there all seemed super nice and to me it seemed like they really enjoyed working there! I will definitly be going back soon! It was a great experience!

Magnifico!

We were greeted warmly at the door by the owner. The server was attentive, friendly and efficient. She always noticed empty glasses and no-one had to sit with a dirty plate. The calamari was perfect - very light breading and cooked to buttery tenderness. The tomato-boconcini salad is very simple, but utterly delicious! The pasta was all fresh and the sauces delicious. The meat and fish was perfectly done and tender. Everything was perfect. Wish I could go back every week (but I was visiting from another province!)

The food and service was amazing, i had the stuffed veal and my wife had the lamb and both dishes were awesome, the rest of our friends were very happy and impressed also. We will make it a friday night tradition to dine here. But make sure to call for reservations.

This is a place to come to laugh, let loose, celebrate, have a great time and eat lots of food. It may just be the best Italian food in the city, but it is without a doubt the friendliest and most welcoming restaurant in Edmonton. Family owned (Mamma does the cooking).I'll definitely go back again....and again.
