Medicine Hat Regional Hospital General Information

The staff helped bring my son into this world, and now 15 yrs later and several visits for other reasons, the staff are helping my dad during his final days. Thank you, thank you very much.

I went in with excruciating pain on a Tuesday night with the help of my wife I was literally screaming in pain while the nurses and staff around it absolutely nothing I then passed out due to the pain my skin turn white my lips turn blue and they still wouldnt I then passed out due to the pain my skin turn white my lips turn blue and they still wouldnt come I then passed out due to the pain my skin turn white my lips turn blue and they still wouldnt come to check then passed out due to the pai

A one is generous! The wait time was supposed to be 2 hours. I was there for 5!!!! I tore my plantar fascia in my foot and the dr spent 30 seconds with me. He sent me for X-rays to check if it’s a broken bone. I find out from X-ray tech that plantar fascia tear won’t show up on X-rays but they would have to call in ultrasound person to do the proper imaging! I never saw the dr again after nearly another hour do I left untreated abd undiagnosed.

PLEASE if you can go to another hospital, do. Especially if you are suicidal, THEY WILL TURN YOU AWAY. I have lived in Medicine Hat my entire life, been in and out of the hospital lots and I am always apalled by the doctors, I have not once had a good experience. I’ve has a few nurses help me when they saw me break down from the doctor behaviour but that’s it. PLEASE TRUST ME IF YOU NEED HELP GO SOMEWHERE ELSE YOU WILL NOT GET HELP HERE

If I could rate a 0 I would. Atrocious patient care, very unprofessional staff. Belittling patients openly to one another, I will never go to this ER again

What happened to the staff at this hospital?? :( if i could go through all the pain i went through again, i would without question... just to get the care that i and my unborn baby deserved and needed tremendously.. :( i was neglected.. :( and very much alone!! :( i felt like i was a huge bother to her!!... i believe that the same person was there when i miscarried in october a year and a half before... she made me feel very annoying to her... that time though i did not have her the whole time! So it was good because the few nurses before her took care of me and helped me feel okay before the miscarriage happened... i dont know what to do or how to put this out of my head... i wish i woulda screamed for help cause i really needed someone to help. :( i wish dr jeffereys was there and diane for sure. Cause i know they wouldnt have let this happen!! :( if there is anyone that reads these messages may i please have the name of who i need to talk to. Because this person should not get away with this. And i so so do not want anyone else to be treated this way. :(((( ever!!!
