Modelled after large gaming establishments in Korea and China, OverKlocked Gaming & Computers is a one-of-a-kind business in Edmonton.
When Tim Cooper, the owner of OverKlocked Gaming & Computers – and a gamer himself – first made the move to Edmonton, he realized quickly that there were no quality gaming places in the city. In 2011, he decided to open the kind of place he’d want to go to.
OverKlocked Gaming & Computers is a place for friends to hang out, play games and have fun. It offers traditional computer services as well, but the heart of the business is definitely gaming. Customers can also expect free playing tips on the newest games – a valuable perk no matter what level you’re at.
There are guys who play video games and then there are full-fledged, hardcore gamers. They’re the kind of guys who build their own PC so they can have the absolute best gaming experience. If you know what World of Warcraft or Bioshock are because it’s all your guy talks about, Overklocked is the date night spot for you. They are the largest Local Area Network (LAN) in Edmonton, with more than 100 gaming systems! Ask your guy to teach you how to play, watch him connect with other gamers and maybe even execute a raid together.
